Migration and Modernisation of Electronic Document and Records Management for the Ministry of Justice/Youth Justice Board

The Youth Justice Board for England and Wales is a Ministry of Justice sponsored non-departmental public body operating within a highly regulated and audit sensitive environment.

The organisation required the migration and modernisation of its Electronic Document and Records Management capability to Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online to improve control, compliance, accessibility, and consistency of digital records, while ensuring secure governance and long term operational support.

Clarity Tech worked closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver a cloud based EDRMS solution using an assurance-led Agile delivery approach. The implementation included records aligned information architecture, controlled document lifecycle management, accessibility-focused user experience enhancements, cloud hosting, Power BI reporting, and structured post implementation support.

The solution was designed to be AI-enabled, supporting future Microsoft 365 and Azure AI capabilities subject to governance approval, and established a strong foundation for controlled digital records management, improved access to information, reduced manual handling through digitisation and workflow design, and strengthened data quality through governance and security controls.

Advanced Reporting and Analytics Automation for a Major NHS Partnership

Imperial College Health Partners is a collaboration between NHS providers, commissioners, and leading universities across North West London, operating at scale within a complex, data intensive healthcare environment.

The organisation required specialist Business Intelligence consultancy to deliver an advanced reporting and analytics solution within a tight delivery timeframe. A key requirement was to automate and improve the accuracy of a mission critical cancer risk scoring process, while ensuring the solution could operate reliably at population scale.

Clarity Tech worked closely with health economists, analysts, developers, and information specialists to define requirements and delivery priorities. Following discovery, Clarity Tech designed and implemented a unified, data driven automation solution that restructured data architecture, streamlined analytical processing, and enabled reliable execution of the QCancer .NET programme.

The solution automated extraction, validation, and processing of patient level data from the existing data warehouse, enabling consistent and repeatable generation of cancer risk scores. This improved operational reliability, reduced manual intervention, and supported timely analytical insight across a large population dataset.

“ We managed to run the QCancer .NET program for the North West London’s population of about 2.3 millions records. The program performance was good and it executed successfully, this is great…”
